Getting started
Welcome to Quipu SST
The public landing page for Quipu, the AI-enabled SST accounting platform for Malaysian businesses. From here you can create a new account or log in to manage your companies, invoices, and SST returns.
Account & login
Appearance Theme
Switch between light, dark, or system appearance for the Quipu SST interface. Your choice is saved to your profile and applied on every device.
Create Your Account
Open a new Quipu SST account. Registration is passwordless: enter your name and Malaysian mobile number (optionally an email), and we send a one-time password (OTP) to verify you.
Delete Account
Permanently close your Quipu SST account. This deactivates your login and marks your account as deleted, then logs you out. Treat this as a final step.
Sign in to Quipu SST without a password. Enter your registered Malaysian mobile number or email and we send a one-time password (OTP) to confirm it is you.
Log Out
Ends your current session and returns you to the login page. Use this on shared or public devices to keep your accounting data safe.

Verify Registration OTP
Enter the one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile to confirm your number and finish creating your account. On success you are logged in automatically.
Companies & users
Accounting Years
View and manage the company's accounting (financial) years. Malaysia has no fixed statutory year-end, so each company sets its own start and end dates.
Activate Accounting Year
Make a selected accounting year the active working year for the company. New transactions and SST periods are recorded against the active year.
Change User Role
Change the role assigned to an existing member, adjusting what they can see and do in this company. Admin only.
Company Dashboard
The central hub for the active company. See key figures in Ringgit (RM), SST status, outstanding amounts, and quick links to everyday tasks.
Company Users
Manage the people who can access this company and the role each one holds. Invite team members, change roles, or remove access.
Create Accounting Year
Define a new accounting year by giving it a label and a start and end date. Only Admin and Management can create years.
Create Company
Set up a new company. Only the registered name is required up front — you can create now and complete SST, SSM, and contact details later from Edit.
Delete Company
Permanently remove a company and its books. This is irreversible, so confirm carefully before proceeding.
Edit Company
Update company details — name, type, address, contact, SST registration, SSM number, TIN, MyInvois identity, and logo. Only Admin and Management can edit.
Invite User
Invite a colleague or accountant to this company by their Malaysian mobile number and assign the role that sets their access level.
My Companies
View every company you own or have been invited to. Each company is a separate business entity with its own SST registration, books, and data, fully isolated from your other companies.
Remove User
Revoke a member's access to this company. Their past activity is retained for the audit record. Admin only.
Switch Company
Switch your active session into another company. All screens, books, and SST data then reflect the selected company until you switch again.
General ledger
Accounting Periods
Manage the periods within your active accounting year. Periods control when entries can be posted and help you align the books with your SST taxable-period cycle.
Balance Sheet
View the company's financial position showing assets, liabilities, and equity. The balance sheet must always balance: Assets = Liabilities + Equity.
Chart of Accounts
View and manage your chart of accounts. The CoA organises every ledger account into groups such as Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Income, and Expenses, forming the backbone of your double-entry books.
Create Account
Add a new ledger account to your chart of accounts. Pick the correct group and type so it lands in the right place on your financial statements.
Create Journal Entry
Record a new journal with multiple debit and credit lines. Use it for adjustments, corrections, provisions, and any transaction without a source document.
Day Book
View every posted entry within a date range in chronological order. The day book is a running record of all activity committed to the ledger.
Edit Account
Modify an existing ledger account: update its name, change its group, or toggle its active status. Take care when changing the group of an account that already has postings.
Generate Periods
Create the set of accounting periods for the active accounting year in one step, so journals can be assigned to the correct period as they are posted.
Journal Entries
View all journal entries. Journals capture adjustments, provisions, depreciation, and other postings that do not originate from an invoice or payment.
Journal Entry Detail
View the full details of a journal entry, including every debit and credit line, the narration, the posting status, and the period it belongs to.
Lock / Unlock Period
Lock a period to freeze its transactions, or unlock it to allow corrections. Locking protects figures you have already reported.
Opening Balances
Enter the opening balance for each ledger account when migrating into the system mid-year. These balances seed the books for the active accounting year.
Post Journal Entry
Commit a draft journal to the general ledger. Once posted, the entry affects all balances and reports and can no longer be edited directly.
Profit & Loss Statement
View income and expenses for the accounting year to determine net profit or loss. Essential for assessing performance and preparing your LHDN income tax return.
Reverse Journal Entry
Create a mirror-image journal that cancels a posted entry. Reversal is the correct way to undo a mistake without altering the original record.
Seed Default Chart of Accounts
One-time action that loads a ready-made chart of accounts and standard voucher types so you can start posting immediately.
Trial Balance
View the debit and credit totals for every account in the active accounting year. A balanced trial balance confirms your double-entry bookkeeping is sound.

Register a new customer with their contact details, Malaysia tax identity and default billing terms.
Add Item
Add a product or service to the catalogue with its default price and SST tax code.

New Sales Invoice
Raise a sales invoice for a customer. Add line items, let SST be calculated per line, then save as draft or post straight away.

Post Invoice
Posts a draft sales invoice to the general ledger, booking Dr Trade Receivables and Cr Sales + Cr SST Output.

Customer payments received, with date, customer, amount (RM) and payment mode. Each receipt is allocated against open invoices.
Receivables Aging
Outstanding customer balances (RM) grouped into aging buckets so you can see how overdue each amount is and chase the right accounts.
Record Receipt
Record money received from a customer. The amount is allocated FIFO against their open invoices and posted to the ledger.
Sales Invoices
All sales invoices with their status (draft, posted, partially paid, paid, cancelled), total (RM) and balance due.
Purchases & payables
Create Debit Note
Raise a debit note against a supplier for a return or adjustment. It reduces the amount owed and, if applicable, reverses the recoverable SST input.
Create Purchase Bill
Record a new bill from a supplier. Add line items with SST codes, capture the supplier bill number, and optionally post it straight to the ledger.
Create Vendor
Register a new supplier. Capture their legal and trade name, tax identifiers, address, contact details and default payment terms.
Debit Notes
Debit notes raised against suppliers for purchase returns, price differences or other adjustments that reduce what you owe and reverse recoverable SST input.
Edit Vendor
Update an existing supplier record. Changes apply to new bills and payments only; posted documents are unaffected.
Outstanding Payables
A summary of all unpaid supplier bills with the total amount still owed (RM). Useful for a quick view of total creditor exposure.
Payables Ageing
Outstanding amounts owed to suppliers grouped by ageing buckets (current, 30, 60, 90+ days). Use it to prioritise payments and manage cash flow in Ringgit (RM).
Payments
All payments made to suppliers, with vendor, amount (RM), date and payment mode. Payments are auto-allocated against the oldest open bills first.
Post Purchase Bill
Post a draft bill to the ledger, creating Dr Purchases [+ SST Input] / Cr Trade Payables. This is a confirm action triggered from the bill detail page.
Purchase Bill Detail
View a single purchase bill in full: supplier, line items, SST breakdown, balance due and posting status.
Purchase Bills
All purchase bills received from suppliers, newest first. Each bill records goods or services bought, with SST input that may be recoverable.
Record Payment
Record a payment to a supplier. Choose the vendor, amount, payment mode and bank account; the system allocates it across the vendor's oldest open bills automatically.
Vendor Detail
View a full supplier profile: contact and tax details, recent purchase bills, payments recorded and the current outstanding balance in Ringgit (RM).
Vendors
Manage your supplier (vendor) master list. Each vendor stores contact details, SST registration number, SSM business registration number, TIN, credit limit and payment terms.
Banking
Account Details
View one account's current RM balance and its most recent transactions, drawn live from the General Ledger.
Add Bank Account
Register a new bank, cash, or petty-cash account. You can map it to an existing GL ledger or let the system create a fresh ledger for it.
Bank & Cash Accounts
See every bank, cash, and petty-cash account with its current balance. Each account is linked one-to-one to a General Ledger account, so balances are derived live from posted journal entries in Ringgit (RM).
Bank Book
The full chronological ledger for one account: every receipt and payment with a running RM balance, derived directly from posted journal lines.
Bank Charge / Interest / Deposit / Withdrawal
Record a direct bank entry that did not come from a sales or purchase voucher: bank charges, interest credited, or a plain deposit or withdrawal.
Bank Reconciliation
Match imported statement lines to your posted GL entries so book and bank balances agree. Matching never alters the General Ledger.
Edit Bank Account
Update an account's name, bank details, or active status. The linked GL ledger and posted balances are not changed here.
Fund Transfer
Move money between two of your own accounts. This posts a journal entry crediting the source account and debiting the destination, in Ringgit.
Import Bank Statement
Paste your bank statement rows so they can be matched against your books. Each line is date, description, and a signed RM amount (+ in, - out).
Import Default Accounts
One-click setup that creates the standard cash and bank accounts (Cash at Bank, Cash in Hand, Petty Cash) wired to their GL ledgers.
Reconciliation Report
A read-only summary of the reconciliation: matched and unmatched items and the difference between your book balance and the statement closing balance.
SST returns
File SST return
Files a draft SST return and posts its settlement journal to the General Ledger, clearing SST Output and recoverable SST Input for the period into SST Payable to RMCD. This action is triggered from the return detail page.
Generate SST return
Prepares a new SST return for a taxable period by reading posted journals from the General Ledger. It totals the output tax collected on sales (Sales Tax SR10/SR5, Service Tax SV8/SV6) and the recoverable input tax on purchases, then computes the net payable to RMCD.
SST return detail
Shows one SST return in full: taxable sales and the output tax collected, taxable purchases and the recoverable input tax, and the net amount payable to (or refundable from) RMCD. From here you file the return, which posts the settlement journal to the ledger.
SST returns
Lists every SST return you have prepared for the business, newest taxable period first. Each row shows the period, output tax (Sales/Service Tax collected), recoverable input tax, the net amount in Ringgit (RM), and whether the return is still a draft or has been filed and settled.
MyInvois e-invoicing
Approve Document
Releases a reviewed document from the queue so it will be submitted to MyInvois on the next run.
Cancel E-Invoice
Voids a validated e-invoice at LHDN within the 72-hour window. You must give a cancellation reason; after 72 hours, issue a credit note instead.
E-Invoice Detail
Full record of one MyInvois document: its LHDN identifiers (UUID / long ID), status, validation link / QR, and the submission log. From here you can refresh the status or cancel within the 72-hour window.
E-Invoice Documents
Every document sent to (or queued for) MyInvois for this company, with its current status. Use it to track submissions, find rejections, and open a document for its validation link and history.
MyInvois Settings
Connect this company to MyInvois (LHDN) for e-invoicing. Enter your API credentials per environment, your supplier (TIN/SSM) details, and choose how invoices are submitted. Secrets are stored encrypted.
Refresh Status
Polls MyInvois for the latest status of this document and updates the local record. Use it while a submission is still being processed by LHDN.
Reject Document
Holds a reviewed document locally so it is not submitted to MyInvois. Use it when a document needs correction before sending.
Review Queue
When submission mode is set to Review, documents wait here for approval before being sent to MyInvois. Approve to release them, or reject to hold them locally.
Submit Credit Note
Manually submits a posted credit note to MyInvois as e-invoice type 02, linked to the original e-invoice it adjusts.
Submit Invoice
Manually submits a posted sales invoice to MyInvois as an e-invoice (document type 01). Used in Manual submission mode or to resend.
Test Connection
Checks that the saved Client ID and Client Secret can obtain an access token from the selected MyInvois environment. Run it after saving settings.
Upload UBL Document
Manually submit a ready-made MyInvois document by uploading its UBL JSON file. Useful for documents prepared outside the normal invoice flow.
Validate TIN
Checks a buyer or supplier TIN against LHDN, optionally with their SSM business registration no. or NRIC, before you use it on an e-invoice.

AI assistant
Assistant History
Browse every Smith session: what you typed or uploaded, how it was classified, and what was posted. Use it to audit AI-created entries or to roll back a posted transaction.
Business Insights
AI-generated observations about your business that Smith surfaces from your data, such as overdue invoices, cash-flow trends, or upcoming SST filing reminders.
Confirm & Post
Confirming the reviewed entry posts the balanced SST journal to your books. For report requests, Smith simply opens the relevant report instead of posting.
Processing Your Request
Smith is reading your text or document, classifying the transaction, and extracting the party, amounts, and SST codes. This step prepares a draft for review and never posts to your books on its own.
Review SST Journal
Review the entry Smith has drafted before it touches your books. Confirm the party, the Ringgit amounts, the SST treatment, and the debit/credit lines, and edit anything that looks wrong.
Roll Back Entry
Reverse a transaction Smith posted earlier. Roll back removes or reverses the journal lines created by a session so your books and SST figures stay accurate.
Smith AI Assistant
Smith is your AI accounting assistant. Type an instruction in plain English, speak it, or drop in an invoice or receipt. Smith reads it, works out the SST treatment, and drafts a balanced journal for you to review before anything is posted.
What-If Analysis
